The writing center will give my students the opportunity to express themselves through writing, in a comfortable area that meets all their needs as a writer. When students have a specific area designated for writing they become more excited about it and more focused on what they are doing. The writing caddy and cubbies will also provide space for all of their writing materials. Such as providing a space for a variety of writing paper options and writing tools. This will give my students the opportunity to view themselves as real authors and illustrators. Therefore, preparing them for their futures as life-long readers and writers, but also as future writers and illustrators.

About my class
