Through providing a donation, my students will be given the chance to sit where they wish during center rotations. This project requests one Classic Bean Bag chair, plastic stack stools, Big Joe Dorm and Bean Bag chairs, and seat sacks for storage and organization. These different seating choices will also allow students to exercise decision making skills throughout the day. Research has proven that movement increases brain function, so it is my hope that my students are given the chance to move around the classroom instead of being confined to plastic chairs for a lengthy amount of time. Providing students with comfortable seating will create an environment which will make students look forward to center time and reading time. Flexible seating will provide students with a cozy class!
