We have a couple of issues in our classroom with tables and carpets. The tables are used for playing and small group instruction. Two of our learning tables have become warped, whereas, the top "veneer or formica" surface has pulled away from the tabletop. Little fingers keep getting pinched and snagging clothing. Every classroom at this age requires a designated meeting place. A colorful carpet, as requested, creates a perfect meeting area for 20 students to find their own space and to listen to stories, sing songs, practice nursery rhymes and to work on Smart Board activities we utilize daily. Our current rug is over 13 years old and suffers from constant wear and tear. I desire for my students a clean and inviting place to learn. These items will go a long way insuring that for them. Thank you.
