The funds for this project will allow my students to attend the Educators Rising State Conference in Oxford, MS in which they will be given the opportunity to compete against other Teacher Academy students in different competitions from all over the state of Mississippi. Some of the competitions that my students will be exposed to include, the Job Application Process, Impromptu Speaking, Lesson Planning, Public Speaking, Storybook Creation, and Exploring Non-Core Subject Careers. Attendance at the conference will also provide my students with different resources and the opportunity to network and develop relationships with other Teacher Academy students from other states.

About my class
