Hi, I am CAPT Scott Pursley USN (Ret). I am a teacher at eSTEM Public Charter High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. I teach AP Physics, Advanced Chemistry, AP Calculus, Engineering and Robotics. I have been teaching for only one year. Teaching has long been a personal goal for me. When people ask me how things are going, I tell them, "I am livin' the dream!" :-) I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, an MBA from City University Seattle, and soon will have an MEd from UALR. I have 30 years experience as a nuclear submarine officer and a naval engineering duty officer. My wife Beth and I raised our four daughters here in Little Rock. I am very committed to giving my students the best STEM education possible. These are very bright kids, and are often curious about how things work. They are a lot of fun to teach.
