I would love to provide my students with their own reading buddy that can help increase their interest in reading! My students would love to have a baby that looks much like them to read to during independent reading times. Although my students work well together and really enjoy read-a-loud's, I would like to build on their confidence and increase their skills surrounding literacy. By providing each student with their own reading buddy, I will be successful in building on their love for reading while also building on their confidence of exploring books on their own. I cannot wait to see their faces when they receive their new reading buddies.
