Our school is a Visual and Performing Arts School with a dual mission to increase students' passion for learning and the arts. My students are creative, passionate, and full of fun energy. They are not afraid to express who they are and know how to appreciate those who are different from them. Many of my students come from low-income neighborhoods and would be the first one in their family to attend college. Though many of their literacy levels are below their grade level and struggle academically, their passion in the arts motivates them to continue to push themselves, and take challenges.
