My school is located outside city limits with many diverse backgrounds. We have students that have great support system but we also have several that need additional support to make sure they are fed and clothed properly. Our school district is thought of as one of the best in the state, however, due to the fact that we have very few businesses located inside our school district boundaries we are one of the poorest districts in the state because we have no business tax dollars coming in to help with funds. To the kids, that means nothing because they still come to school ready to learn. They are some of the sweetest, loving, and smartest kids.
