The resources will make a difference in my students’ learning by getting them excited for their final project which is completing a Painting on Canvas for our Searider Art Festival at our school. Objectives of this project 1. My students will Complete an Acrylic Painting on Canvas incorporating the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. 2. My students will Participate in the Searider Art Festival 3. My students will stand by their Canvas and easel speaking about their work to the school community. What will be taught and what will be learned? Standard 1: Understand and apply art materials, techniques, and processes in the creation of works of art and understand how the visual arts communicate a variety of ideas, feelings, and experiences.
