I believe that all students desire to have a good day once they leave their homes and enter their school buildings. Many times, however, life happens for students just as it does for adults, and their day does not pan out to be what they'd hope for. The materials that will be provided in the Comfort corner will not only aid in de-escalating students, but more importantly, they will provide them with the comfort that they will need to carry on with their day. During the time that the students will spend in the Comfort Corner, it is the hope that they will not only calm down and be comforted by the comfortable seating, comforting sounds, and stress balls, but they will also reflect and take away strategies that will promote positive thinking and positive behavior through the positive messaging that will surround them.

About my class
