My students have shown a great interest in learning about and caring for different animals. This aquarium with enable they to study the lives if different fish. They will learn about live bearers and egg laying fish. They will be able to care for the fish and perhaps have the opportunity to adopt fish as the population grows in the aquarium. This will be a project that will enable the students to study all year long and possible carry over to the homes, through fish adoptions. Students will have the opportunity be a part of the fish's growth from small fish or possibly even fry, to full grown fish, experiencing how they grow and change, documenting the whole experience throughout the year.
