I teach in a general education classroom. Although it is a general education classroom, the students have diverse needs. Some students receive special education services, others are English language learners and general education students. They are 8 and despite their academic differences and diverse backgrounds, they all share one need, fantastic books. The kids are bright and energetic and require an outlet that will inspire their creativity, challenge their thinking and broaden their understanding of the world.
