My school is the 3rd school I have worked at in my county. This is the first school that I have been in where the students and parents fully utilize the school library. My library is constantly full of people. Students use the space to work, collaborate and read! My check-in box is filled every day! We do have a community that loves to read. The school is a place where students are engaged in their learning. Most classes have students creating and guiding their own learning which creates the space for students to truly own their learning. We are excited about the rapid growth in the use of technology, but our community also understands the value of print material and the process of learning how to read.

About my class
