Having hands on sample food items and educational books on nutrition will help students learn about healthy foods, what food category these foods belong to, and the importance of making healthy food choices as it relates to our health. Using My Plate will provide a concrete picture of what a normal child serving is and should be. You would definitely be making a great contribution to our school with the purchase of these items. The knowledge students obtain from learning healthy nutritional habits at an early age can greatly benefit and impact their health, their parents, siblings, and others that they choose to share it with. When you reach one, you have certainly taught millions!
