My inner city students come from various backgrounds where English is not always their native language. We are a Title I School where our students receive 100% free breakfast and lunch. The children in my class come to school wanting to learn and work hard because school is a safe place for them and also one of their most favorite places to be. My students are eager readers who love to learn and be exposed to interesting topics. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are an inspiration to me and others around them every single day.
