iPads are a versatile tool used throughout my classroom. I am able to load books on them for students to engage in a reading activity, practice fine motor skills, utilize digital photo cards to work on communication, practice verbal skills in making requests and offer as a reinforcement tool to help keep them motivated. Using this technology in my classroom is something that each of my students can utilize despite the vast differences their abilities. I can quickly adapt what we are doing without losing instructional time. It is also very portable, and I am able to bring instruction to them, wherever they are.
