My past experience with the Pathfinders Institute was one that resulted in the elevation of my teaching and career. The intensive week of training I received led to the effective implementation of an AP CSP curriculum and our school's program grew exponentially, from 14 students to 72. As a dedicated educator, I am always looking to advance and improve in my skills and knowledge so that I can continue to facilitate meaningful, authentic experiences for our students. I have no doubt that the winter Pathfinders in Rhode Island will further push me to another level of expertise that will lead to positive and lasting impacts for our community CS programs. In addition, the relationships and network of likeminded professionals I have developed throughout the Pathfinders community is priceless. By networking at the last Pathfinders, more opportunities have occurred to collaborate with innovative teachers all over the world, leaving not just an immediate local impact, but serving the greater global community.
