Our students come from various locations and many cultures. Along with this comes varying degrees of poverty. They either cannot afford the shoes they need, or they use ill fitting hand me downs. Our school is in the most remote part of Hawaii. It takes many of them at least an hour just to get here. It's a big effort just to get them to stay for practice much less staying after school for games.
