Our school consists of over 800 students in preschool through 5th grade. Over half of our population is considered low income, and qualifies for free or reduced lunch. Our school represents a wide range of cultures including African American, American Indian, Hawaiian, Hispanic, Cuban, Asian and more. Many students receive English Language Learning services, as their native language is not English. Our staff works hard to support all of our students and provide them with a quality education despite their many hardships. My students range from kindergarten to second grade. I teach small groups throughout these grades. Teaching a variety of grade levels means a variety of abilities, needs, and concerns.
