The young scientists and engineers working hard in my classroom are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them, improving their designs and knowledge along the way. They are enthusiastic learners and careful observers of the world around them. My students are inspired by hands-on activities that allow them to show what they know in meaningful and creative ways.
