This year third graders will be working on Chrome books to enhance their learning experience with technology. There are many engaging lessons and activities that we use Chrome books for! Many applications and websites help teachers to increase their engagement with online activities and modules. Students also use the Chromebook to take assessments and study. They can keep track of their goals and scores as they work towards achieving them. They also have individual assignments to work on including keyboarding, which is a real world skill most job applicants need! We currently have a set of Chrome books, but no headphones. Headphones will help students stay focused especially during assessments. The math assessments can be read to them. When all the students are taking tests at the same time,it can get noisy, making it difficult for the students to focus and try their best on their own test.
