Most of my students have been quarantined in their NYC sized apartments for well over a year, and many of them have understandably struggled to remain positive, hopeful, and active. When a student visits my office and is feeling overwhelmed, this punching bag will help relieve some of their stress and get their endorphins flowing. I am very fortunate to have room in my home for a heavy bag that I use for boxing workouts most mornings. It has helped me maintain physical activity and has done wonders for my mental health. I would love to add this piece of equipment to my office as we are now fully re-opened. Many of our students are going to need outlets to process what they have been through, and I would love to be able to supplement the counseling I offer with a physical component and ideally one that is applicable in confined spaces.
