I am an elementary special education teacher in an urban area at a wonderful school, filled with very talented scholars. My students have so many gifts and talents, but need other supports in place for them all to reach their full potential as scholars. I have students who have ADHD, Developmental Delays and other Specific Learning Disabilities. My students have expressed to me their love for school and thirst to learn math and reading! Just today I had my students in my classroom and they were off-task, but after sitting on my yoga ball that is at my desk they were able to stay on task and do some great work. I am extremely proud of them and am confident about the impact balance balls will have in my class and my students success.
