My students can fluently read, write, and speak English and Spanish. They are bilingual and biliterate. They've been in the dual immersion program for 6 six years now. Having resources in the classroom for them to use, like Spanish books, would only extend their learning. They love to read, but our school library does not have a great selection on Spanish chapter books. And the few that they have, have been read by most of my students. They would be very happy to receive a greater variety of chapter books for them to read.
