I'm a TK teacher who serves a high poverty community. Most of my students come from low income families. They do not have means to buy simple necessities, not to mention technology and art supplies. They are wonderful kids in need of love, care and exciting learning opportunities. My goal is to show students that world is full of beauty. I want to generate enthusiasm for learning. I want my students to wonder. I want them to create. I want them to make connections. In the end, I want them to deeply believe that they can and will learn.
