Your kindness has made a meaningful difference in creating a more comfortable and supportive learning environment for our students.\r\n\r\nBecause of your contributions, we were able to add fluorescent light covers that soften the brightness in our spaces and help maintain a calmer, dimmer atmosphere. These covers have been shared across two important spaces for our students—the classroom and the therapy room—so they can experience a consistent sense of comfort throughout their day.\r\n\r\nThe impact has been truly noticeable. With the softer lighting, students appear more at ease, better able to focus, and less overwhelmed by their surroundings. This has supported smoother transitions, improved engagement, and a more positive overall learning experience. Your support is helping us create an environment where students feel safe, calm, and ready to learn. Your kindness has made a meaningful difference in the daily experiences of our students.\r\n\r\nSince setting up the calming corner, multiple students have already utilized the space. It has quickly become an important resource for those who need a moment to pause, regulate their emotions, and refocus. I am intentional about regularly teaching my students how to use the calming corner effectively and emphasizing the importance of taking time to get calm and collected so they can return to their class tasks ready to learn again.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, our supervisor from the behavior intervention department recently observed our classroom and took note of the calming corner. During the course of her observation, she shared that she noticed how the space has helped students prevent escalating behaviors. This feedback reaffirmed just how impactful your support has been.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, our students are learning valuable self-regulation skills in a supportive and safe environment. The kids love art and free time Friday, but at first when they saw this package arrive they weren't so sure what to think. The big box was very exciting, but the opening a little anticlimactic. However, once they saw all of the paper and materials that would be more easily accessible and available for them, there was MUCH more excitement. The first time using the organization paper station, I just let them use and create whatever they wanted. They had a lot of fun making everything from bendable paper fingers to paper airplanes and \"old school\" cootie catchers. Soon we'll use some of the colorful construction paper to send a few thank you notes to our donors. Thank you again! They literally thought of everything they could. There was also a bit of a competition to see how many different activities could be done sitting in the chairs.
