I am the special education teacher of 33 special needs students. My students are a diverse group of learners with many different needs from kindergarten to grade 6. Despite the educational and home challenges, my students come to school each day with the energy and willingness to learn. Many of my students battle from homelessness, extreme poverty, and challenging home situations. Despite the challenges my students face, they enter my classroom to find comfort, safety, and fun! We strive as a school family to make learning a fun rewarding experience and to create a safe and comfortable environment.
