I absolutely love teaching and on those difficult days, it is my students who keep me going. There are days where they definitely drive me crazy, but seeing their love for learning motivates me to always try my best and have an optimistic attitude. My students amaze me everyday. They are very humble and crave knowledge amid their difficult circumstances. I teach at a Title I school. This means that 70% of students receive free or reduced lunch. My students are from low socioeconomic communities; yet, they continue to strive for the highest goals. Experiencing the same economic circumstances as a child, I want to show my students that there is someone who truly cares about them and wants to see them succeed!
