Our class is the self-contained class for ED students. All of my students are very bright and have a zest for learning. They are challenged with life experiences which have caused them to respond to their world with behaviors that have interfered with their learning. Every day we are tasked with affording them the best educational experience in the most restrictive environment in our school, all while teaching them coping skills and strategies to deal with life. Middle school itself is quite the challenge, being on the peripherals makes school feel impossible sometimes. We have successfully gotten our students to want to come to school and this year we are dedicated to getting them excited about learning.

About my class
