I work at a Title 1 school and I teach in a Special Education classroom at the High School level. Our classroom has students from 9th grade all the way up to 22 years old. We work on life skills that will help everyone become ready for the world after high school. Anywhere from personal hygiene to vocational type activities are done on a daily basis. My students practice filling out job applications, create resumes, and practice their interviewing skills. They also work through our school work program every day. It's great practice for when these students graduate and leave my classroom. I absolutely love my students. They are the sweetest, most well mannered kids you could find. They work harder than any other students I know.
