My kids also have differing learning objectives outside of a regular curriculum, not limited to social skills and behavioral goals. This iPad opens the doors to do virtual activities that help supply a firm understanding of our world and their place in it. With your help, my kids will not only get the opportunity to learn the curriculum, but to self-advocate, problem-solve, demonstrate self awareness, and establish positive decision making skills. I feel that If all I teach my kids is the curriculum, I have failed at my job. That is why this equipment is so important. It gives my kids the opportunity to learn by doing not by watching.
