Students rehearse and prepare throughout the year to perform at community charity events, local and regional dance festivals and performances for the school and community. Costuming the dancers completes the total performance experience for the students by enhancing student performance, the mood and/or message of the choreography in student performances in the upcoming Winter Showcase and throughout the year. Students perform choreography created for them. In addition, they create their own original choreography. During rehearsals and after viewing recordings of performances, the dancers give feedback and constructive criticism to each other and make changes to improve their choreography and performance.
