Your generous donations will provide materials to enhance our music room. We are a title one high need school with 340 diverse students. We have 3 different SPED programs in our building serving student needs. Many of our students speak a second language. Music is a big part of our community. Students all receive general music. In 3-5th grade can join choir and musical. In 4th and 5th graders learn to play ukulele thanks to generous donors choose donations, 2nd and 3rd graders all learn recorder. We play lots of xylophones. We use music technology to compose. Your donations have provided students many tools. We rely on these materials to continue to grow our program and bring the gift of music to every student. In my classroom I strive to open spaces for all students to create using skills and tools learned in music class. Providing opportunities for imagination to grow and open possibilities for the future.
