The items listed will allow my students to spread out all over the room and find the best "learning spot" for each individual. Students do their best learning when they feel at home or are comfortable in their environment. They also love having choice in their learning, even if it is just choosing their spot around the classroom for the day. This project will help make students feel comfortable and give them some ownership in their learning. The stadium seats will allow those that want to sit on the floor, to sit more comfortably. The wobble stools and balance balls will best suit those wiggly students that need to move. The easel will be helpful in taking my lesson to my students. Sitting behind a desk may suit some students, but not all. This project will allow my students to make a choice that is best for them.
