We live in a world of technology and as teachers we have to find new and innovative ways to reach all learners. I have a vast range of ability levels in my class and it my goal to make them successful. Creating an iPad center in my class will give new and creative ways to teach my students. Students will be able to experience technology in the classroom daily regardless of their home life. “We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teacher’s hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time, and it is the lens through which we experience much of our world.” – David Warlick The center will be used in English/Language Arts and Math rotations. Students will be able to utilize the iPads and engage in activities like QR codes, fluency activities, solving word problems, and sight words practice. This will also provide real world connections to the technological world that we live in today. The possibilities are endless to what these iPads can do for our class.
