Thank you for visiting my page! I am a first grade teacher in West Springfield, Massachusetts. I teach in an ELL classroom, so all of my students are in the process of learning to become fluent English speakers. Many of the students in my classroom come from very challenging, diverse backgrounds and are refugees and immigrants from countries all around the world. Coburn is a low income school and all students receive free breakfast and lunch. Despite the challenges that my students are faced with every day, they come to school eager and excited to learn. Watching the growth they make is amazing, and seeing how excited they are with the simple things is a daily reminder to appreciate everything that most of us take for granted. Your donations are greatly appreciated!
