Our Redbud Roadrunners are the first set of students to walk the halls of our district's newest elementary school. Our school family is blended with students and staff coming from multiple elementary schools within our district. They come with a variety of different personalities, backgrounds, and perspectives that make each of them a special piece of our new school family. As the school counselor and SEAL (Social Emotional Academic Learning) classroom teacher, this year has brought a special opportunity to focus on connection and establishing positive and trusting relationships with my students. Creating a strong and nurturing foundation where children feel safe and loved is my foremost priority.
