Our school is over 70% free and reduced lunch. My AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) students will be the first in their families to seek higher education and display an incredible amount of individual determination. This program teaches them the skills necessary for success in college and helps them decide what college they want to go to and the goals they need to set to get there. My students want success and are willing to take the steps necessary to achieve their goals. AVID students become one big family that helps each member achieve the goals they set for themselves.

About my class
