My students attend school in a Title One school, which means over half our students receive free/reduced lunches. There is a good mix of diversity among races, but most of these children do not have opportunities for firsthand life experiences, or the little "extras" in life, such as picture books. Our school provides as much as they can for these things, but I would like to provide them daily in my classroom in any/all areas I can, especially those that are funded the least, such as Math and History.
