I teach in a wonderful public school, in the SW area of the city of Oklahoma City. My young students and their families face many challenges every day. As the Pre-K classroom teacher I need to make sure to offer my students a daily full and positive learning experience. Every year, I get a new bunch of 20 lively 4 year-olds who love to learn. I want my students to experience as many and as different activities as possible, while exploring a variety of materials. I believe the more my students work-at-play, the more enthusiastic and happier students they become. We will always need to add more books and manipulatives. We will need more toys and construction equipment. We will need more music and art supplies. Because my students learn best by doing, holding, making, singing and dancing about what they learn I will always be thankful for Donors Choose and all donors, big and small, because these children need you!
