My school is a very diverse school in an urban area just outside of a larger city. They are a good mixture of those who have access to technology and those who do not. Their families are hardworking people who are trying to do all they can for their children and give them more than they had, as am I. The modern students want more out of a class. They are use to using technology to get information faster and more of it. They watch science programs and come in with fascinating questions for me, my technology allows me to get those answers and display them for the kids to see. Without my computer I can really see my classes lacking that "X" factor that brought more excitement into my kids science learning.
