We have a weekly \"Game Day\" on Fridays in our AMP class where students rotate through different games that build strategy, teamwork, and communication skills. For example, during a recent session of Codenames, students practiced giving creative clues and thinking critically about word associations, all while laughing and cheering each other on.\r\n\r\n When the games first arrived, the excitement was contagious! Students crowded around to look at the boxes, saying things like, \"Can we play right now?\" and \"I've always wanted to try this one!\" Even some of my quieter students jumped right in, teaming up with classmates they don't usually work with. The amount of kids that signed up made it so I had to add a second day!\r\n\r\nThey are doing STEM activies and challanges to be creative but also use their brains to solve tasks. Students are more excited then ever about getting to work in spaces other than their desks and being able to move their bodies more during class time.
