As an activity guide, the workbook will provide students in the Health Care Occupations program at WHS in Stamford with the ability to respond to information provided in a meaningful and engaging way. The workbooks provide a way for students to interact with the information that will illicit higher-order thinking skills and test out new knowledge with the skills necessary to understand the health care field. Our students are challenged both economically and culturally in a very diverse atmosphere to understand the challenges presented in a health care field. It is my hope that these students, who already have so many challenges, might benefit from enhanced engagement in the health care curriculum.

About my class
