Newcomer students rely on images, translations, and examples to fully understand a lesson in English. With a color printer, we are able to provide the students with instant resources at their fingertips that will enhance their learning experience. Being able to instantly print and laminate will allow students to create and preserve projects. The funding of this project will also allow our Newcomer teacher team the ability to make one color copy and laminate to add to our stations. I love being able to incorporate technology into our classroom and an upcoming project requires our students to design flyers about their culture and we all know things look better in color! The color printer will help us be able to expand our learning at the Newcomer level and push our students to create projects that go above and beyond. I look forward to being able to print small quantities of paper in color to help build learning and make connections with words in both languages.
