My students are loving, inquisitive, and driven. Some families have been in the community and attended the school as far back as their grandparents. Other students are new to the country. It is a lovely mix of individuals in a small, but growing, community. Their enthusiasm for learning and their delight when they see themself or a friend in a book is infectious. It is my job as an educator to give them opportunities to see themselves in books, to learn about others, and to grow as people.

About my class
