Donations for my project will support a year subscription to Choices. Choices is a magazine produced by Scholastic that offers middle school students relevant and age-appropriate information on topics including nutrition, physical activity, relationships, technology and character education. This resource will serve as a platform to discuss health related topics and provide students with background information to make healthy choices in their individual lives. I plan to use Choices magazine with my eighth grade health education students. Funding this project will grant each student a year subscription and access to additional online materials. With each monthly publication, students will have the opportunity to explore new topics, increase literacy skills and articulate opinions and ideas.
