Second graders will be arriving soon and they are eager to demonstrate what they know. They love to share and will write about it! Students will get discouraged through the writing process when they are given the same supplies for their sloppy copy (draft) and their final copy. Using the Generic Seasonal Journals and the Crayola markers, they will have their very own materials to write their final story and add colorful illustrations. Having each student be given their own book and markers will encourage them to enjoy publishing their works! Access to these materails is a sure way to excite my young authors.
