My school has implemented the blended learning model with includes a technology station and this year each student in my class will have a laptop! Therefore, we need headphones in order for the student’s to use the programs properly. I truly believe that all of my students can succeed and these headphones will allow my students to work in a quiet, learning-focused environment. Through the use of this technology, I will be able to implement 21st century skills daily into my lessons. I want to incorporate more individualized learning through the use of Google Classroom as well as iReady program for Math and Reading that is part of our blended learning model. These programs are individualized for each student’s needs and differentiates based on their academic levels as well as keep track of their progress. Although the school has provided headphones, there has been wear and tear and most of them do not work. My students need reliable headphone that will last. With these headphones, students will be able to work productively and not distract other students when they are at their centers. The headphones will allow my students to work on the go while blocking out other sounds and distractions, to create and explore, and enhance their learning in the classroom. Please help us get a class set of headphones that will be used daily this year and for years to come!
