We have a local volunteer. We have clay. We have a kiln and glazes. What we lack is a working electric wheel. We are requesting a Laguna Pacifica Glyde Torc 400 for our pottery class. This will allow our students to learn the skills needed for skilled pottery. This request is for an electric pottery wheel so our students can learn how to throw, center, and create on a wheel. A local volunteer has been giving hours of her time over for several years teaching students how to create in clay. Students love the hands-on experiences, but we do not have a working electric wheel. Your funding will allow us to take our students experiences to the next level.
