Singing songs and reciting chants & rhymes is a big part of our preschool day. The children would say that we do it just to have fun, but I know that it’s much more than that. They are developing skills and concepts, making transitions easier throughout the day, and building a sense of community. With your help, I can add these sing-along and rhyming books to our listening center to continue to boost students’ listening, thinking, and literacy skills in a fun and engaging way. In addition to that, my students are English language learners, and listening to songs and rhyming stories in English will help them become stronger English speakers. Please join our adventure, and help these students continue to love learning! Thank you for considering my project.
